MCTRL1600 is a high‑capacity 4K LED display controller developed by NovaStar. It loads up to 4096×2160@60Hz and supports a single output width or height of up to 7680 pixels, meeting the demands of ultra‑wide and ultra‑tall screens. The controller can switch between sending‑card mode and optical‑conversion mode, so one unit covers both traditional sending and fiber transmission duties.

- Hot backup: optical‑port hot backup, dual‑card backup in sending mode, and up to 10 units cascaded.
- Superb image quality: high bit depth 8/10/12‑bit input, independent RGB gamma adjustment, and 3D output with the EMT200 transmitter and 3D glasses.
- Optional 3D: works with the EMT200 3D emitter and glasses for a true 3D effect.
- Easy commissioning: hardware screen‑test without a video source, pixel‑by‑pixel brightness and chroma calibration with the NovaStar calibration system, and automatic limited‑to‑full RGB range conversion.
- Control interfaces: Ethernet to PC, RS232 in/out for third‑party central control, 1 × USB 3.0 (Type‑B) for PC connection plus 1 × USB 2.0 (Type‑A) for cascading up to 10 devices, and an AUX port reserved for an interactive touch screen.
