描述
The DS4-A is a 960 × 320 mm P4 taxi-top LED display — a double-sided roof unit designed to be fitted to a vehicle and driven, not mounted on a wall. It is specified by taxi operators, ride-hailing fleets and car-rental advertisers.
Key Features
- Car-roof format: 960 × 320 mm — a wide, shallow screen sized for the roof line of a sedan or MPV, not a repurposed wall cabinet.
- Double-sided: the two faces point fore and aft, so the screen is read by traffic in front of the car and behind it — the only geometry that makes sense on a moving vehicle.
- 9–36 V DC input: runs from the vehicle supply directly, without an inverter, and tolerates the voltage swing of a car electrical system.
- > 4,000 nits, 3,840 Hz refresh: readable in daylight while staying clean on dashcams and phone video.
- IP65 sealed body: rated for rain, spray and car-wash conditions on a roof that sees weather from every angle.
- Wireless content: the cabinet is built for a 4G modem inside, so a fleet updates from one dashboard instead of someone visiting each car.

Ordering Notes
Price is per unit. Vehicle bracket, wiring harness, 4G modem and SIM are quoted separately. Confirm the vehicle model and local advertising regulations before ordering a fleet.

FAQ
Q: Which vehicles does it fit?
A: Sedans, MPVs and light commercial roofs with a flat enough mounting area and a roof load rating that allows the unit. Give us the vehicle model and roof dimensions and we will confirm the bracket and the load.
Q: How is it powered?
A: 9-36V DC from the vehicle. The unit is wired to the car supply with its own fuse; no inverter and no separate battery are needed.
Q: Is it legal to drive with this on the roof?
A: That depends on your market. Brightness, mounting height and whether moving advertising is permitted at all are regulated locally — check before you order a fleet, and use the dimming control to stay inside night-time limits.
Q: How do you update content across a fleet?
A: Through the 4G modem and the cloud publishing platform: schedules, playlists and per-vehicle content are pushed from one place. Content can also be loaded locally by USB if a car is off-network.
Q: Does it survive rain and car washes?
A: The body is IP65 rated and the front face is sealed. High-pressure washing should still be directed away from the seams; the unit is built for weather, not for being blasted at point-blank range.
